Everlasting

Through the rain piling on the roadside tress
Pours the wind with dazzling light
Even if I stretch my chest, or hang my head
I can’t stop the passing seasons
Looking in my eyes, “See you again tomorrow,”
Were the words said while we pinky promised
But are you even forgetting what is familiar?
Is each of us headed toward different futures?
If I send goodbye greetings for your journey
I can smile the prettiest for you
Even the fact that we met by chance, and the streets we’ve walked
Were living and breathing in our hearts
I will never, ever forget
No matter what kind of future awaits us,
No matter how far apart we live,
I won’t let go of these hands...
But...,
If I don’t force myself to forget you
I won’t be able to face myself tomorrow
As I start moving away from the platform, your figure becomes smaller

Even when I was exhausted and frustrated, crying uncontrollably...
You gave me a hug and told me it would be alright
And I will be stronger and won’t be ashamed
Promise me now that our dreams may be achieved
My silent tears are flowing out of my filled heart,
but I will persevere with no regrets
Until we meet again~~~
